Creeks in winter

Not a river running through it...but joy can be found in the middle of winter when you stand in the silence of a snowy day and listen to the water running in a wooded creek. On this snowy day, you could also hear the sounds of winter geese, redbirds and a very confused pair of robins! The beauty of this part of this country is that nothing stays the same! Today, each hour seemed to produce changes of it's own...at one time, all you could see were huge flakes of snow, and by the time I left work tonight, the moon was huge in a sky full of stars. Here you'll find simple joys in the changing of the seasons. Posted by Picasa
