Sing out loud!

I want to sing like the birds sing, not worrying about who hears or what they think.
Rumi
Simple joy today shines in the eye of a new neighbor in my own back yard! Moving in unannounced, he radiates joy. Though he'll never wear a pantsuit and run for president, his presence commands respect from all around him. Though he'll never have a bank balance, he owns what money could never buy. Though he'll never build a monument.....he builds a masterpiece, and leaves the earth as he found it. Peace surrounds him as he glides from tree to tree. He sings his song with no regrets.....knowing what counts isn't how good you sing, but that you sing at all! He's built a nest for two, knowing that love builds the warmest nests. In my instant mashed potato, TV dinner world, he's a lesson in patience as he sits motionless for hours at a time. What a blessing on a warm March day......a lesson in simple joy, a reminder that ordinary miracles can be found even in the arms of a neighboring pine tree!

I have always found the hawk to be more majestic than the eagle. Both are hunters but his cloak is much more appealing to me. Peace
