Survivors in Pink

Who can resist the feelings of hope and joy that one gets from participating in nature's rebirth?
Edward Giobbi
Pink...the symbol of rebirth, fresh beginnings. Pink...the symbol of hope and eternal love. Pink...growing tall and sturdy out our own backdoor, a sight we were certain we wouldn't see this spring. Local experts forcast a season without spring color, a year long wait to see if this beauty would even survive. And yet another lesson, free for the taking. Never give up....expect the unexpected...Seek joy.... Believe! From a wilted pile of frozen, twisted stems, trimmed and discarded after an April freeze, we watched with joy as this survivor grew and bloomed....our own private miracle, in our own backyard....delicate green leaves , heavy with pink, tiny fairies dancing to the rhythm of the wind. A simple joy that shouts out....nothing is impossible! (And don't believe everything you hear on tv!)

Ah, Billie,
The words just come, don't they. They inspire me like nothing else. Your sense of what is right with this world gives me hope. Please, please, keep this up!!!!
