We choose our destiny everyday, and everyday I choose a destiny of joy!

Choosing joy.....some days it's an uphill struggle! Turning the other cheek, looking for the good, biting back words I know I'll regret, all in search of choosing joy, finding happiness, creating the perfect day. What I've learned from choosing joy is that a perfect day is a healthy mix of work and play and prayer and mistakes and joy and love. That no one is perfect, especially me! That getting the full value of joy means having someone to divide it with. That choosing joy is the feeling of grinning on the inside. That joy doesn't have to be expensive. That joy is thoughtfulness. That joy is caring. That joy can be found in a sweet question from a child or a simple prayer. That joy can be found in a walk around a lake sprinkled with water lilies. That joy is in what you put into life, and not in what you take from it. That for every joy that passes, something remains. As life rushes by you, may you choose joy......
