On our journey......

We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly, but let us never lost sight of the reason for the journey, or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way.

Another lesson from a simple joy in life....the sight of a rainbow at the end of an unexpected journey! In search of fall colors in the Colorado mountains, we set out on an unscheduled drive and found sunshine, snowfall, raindrops, fog.....and a rainbow to welcome us back from our journey! A lesson we found in making choices and taking chances....and choosing the roads less traveled! (We had planned a trip to a downtown bookstore for that afternoon!) A lesson to remind us about the importance of choosing the right path....of learning to let go of the past and moving on.....of choosing what matters and what doesn't....of learning to appreciate how short life is ...... and the rewards to be found in life when the journey is shared.
