winds of change...

I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

With nights coming early... dawns coming late...the smell of woodsmoke in the air.. misty, chilly mornings....a teakettle whistling on the cook stove...naked trees, silhouetted against the skyline, waving their leafless arms as if to slow the winds of change...the sound of rustling leaves....the haunting honk from a flock of migrating geese.....sights and sounds and smells from a changing season.....November arrives.

Love your pictures!! It so reminds me of my childhood on the farm -- quite a bit further South! (SE Missouri). I've enjoyed the reading too! Great food for thought. I'll be back....
