the view from winter

No one can look at a pine tree in winter without knowing that spring will come
again in due time. .....Frank Bolles
Winter in Nebraska....a season that looks most inviting inside! Come in to the fire, warm your toes, sip your toddy! A season to reflect and remember, celebrate yourself, enjoy the quiet, look within. A season for animals to hibernate, nature to sleep and a season for us to turn inward and give ourselves permission to let go, move on and forgive. A season for us to light our candles and bring light into the world and into the lives of those around us. Celebrate this winter solstice today.....spend a few moments in quiet darkness, reflecting on your life, your world....then fill your life with lightness...find a friend and plan a party.....celebrate the sun...sing a rousing chorus of "you are my sunshine" and see how much better life looks! Find your own simple joy and create your own winter custom ....and let your life glow!

Beautiful picture! That is a lot of snow and you can bet I would indeed be by the fire.
The best thing about seasons??? They always change and bring something so special and new.
