Glisten......

A snowflake is winter's butterfly!

Simple joy this morning in a world that glistens! Tiny ice crystals fill the air....cover the cornstalks.... coat the light posts.... and stick together to fall in tiny flurries to a land blanketed in white. Ice that frosts the trees now fills the air with cracks and snaps as the bitter north winds bend naked tree limbs like aging arthritic joints! Though a brisk walk in the morning leaves me shivering, gasping for air and eager for warmth, there is such beauty in this world that lies quiet and full of mystery.....beauty in a day that glistens!

What a wonderful discription of tiny ice crystals landing on the corn stocks. You must have gotten ice like a lot of us. Keep warm.
