Sing out loud!

We can't sing a cardinal's song better than a cardinal. Better just to sing your own song.

Today was a day made for singing. A work in your shirt sleeves... dig your fingers in the dirt... wiggle your toes in the fresh mowed grass... soul singing kind of day! A day touched by laughter, mixed with family, accompanied by the steady hum of a lawn mower... and topped off with a song of hope...sung from his perch in our budding maple tree. A day for learning yet another lesson from this simple joy in red....the lesson that we each have our own song to sing....that it should be sung loudly, and sometimes without words...that if we all sing the same note, there is no harmony .... that life is best sung a little off key...and that the day just can't be finished until this old, chubby woman sings along! May your day be filled with returning spring cardinals and your own songs to sing!
