Each day provides its own gifts.
On a a blustery winter day...somewhere between a spirit basketball game and a cheer recital, we spotted simple joy dancing on the naked branches of a winter stripped tree. Brilliant flashes of red, stirred by gusts of nose biting winds, against a drab gray backdrop.....we found a winter smile ..and a gentle reminder that even the coldest day of December has it's own gifts to share! May your busy December days hold moments like these....moments that flash with joy!

Seeing your ornaments on an outside tree reminded me of a mysterious tradition on the road between Phoenix and Flagsaff...every year at a Y in the road there is a cedar tree, fully decorated. This has happened every year for as long as I can remember.....
