Living gratefully....

Joy is what happens when we allow ourselves
to recognize how good things really are.
Marianne Williamson

What does joy look like? Joy looks like a little boy in a bright orange stocking cap, with his tongue stuck out, racing to lick the next snowflake. Joy looks like a deep green spruce tree, branches drooping with weight of the falling snow. Joy is white...in the flicker of a flame as it twinkles through the crystal of a favorite candle holder. Joy is red in the depths of a treasured wine glass. Joy is the scent of bread baking in the oven. Joy looks like a little blonde girl in pink fuzzy slippers. Joy is walking out your backdoor and recognizing how good things really are. Joy is finding that you can choose to leave the grey days behind.....and fill the rest with color. Joy is choosing to make this....2009...the year to live gratefully.

Once again the joy through your eyes is a wonderous thing to behold. Again, you photos and words would be a cherished book on my table. Peace
