This was a February day filled with joy. A day just filled with guilty pleasures! Sleeping in....still warm bagels and hazelnut coffee with just a splash of real cream...... cell phones off....a full tank of gas....and the promise of a winter drive to fill my head...and my memory card....with photo opportunities! Seems like life has this way of filling the spaces...and spontaneous days soon get to be few and far between. But this day...this over 60 degree day in February...we let ourselves float...and soar...and run with where it took us....and what magic we found! This was a day for stopping along the way....skipping rocks....rolling the windows down and singing along with a favorite song (usually loud and a little off key!). This was a day for telling stories and sharing dreams....for looking at the sky and laughing at the squirrels. This was a day graced by eagles.....and colored in sunshine. A day that filled our hearts with happiness.....and hope. This was a day for doing nothing...and six hours and 200 miles and over 100 pictures later, we found we had done that....very well!

What a wonderful reminder to enjoy the simple things....great post.
Another great one. We have been having weird weather also. sixties in Feb. Yesterday was one filled with high winds. Today if limbs were not on the ground it would have been only a bad dream. Peace
