If you want a little happiness in life don’t forget to look at the little things
Noah Ben Shea
Joy lies in the little things I've come to take for granted. Little things that fill my days with joy. The smell of coffee brewing in the morning....a phone call at work to say "I love you"...sliding your foot into a well worn pair of Birks on the way out the door....the scent of minty soap in a steaming hot shower....juicy summer corn on the cob, with butter dripping down your chin....icy cold melon and spitting seeds at your little brother.....the hum of ceiling fans in late afternoon.....dozing in a porch swing in the heat of the day...sticky little fingers and dripping Popsicles....butterflies floating from brown eyed susans to brilliant shades of phlox....sleeping in...and staying up late....fireflies....and grasshoppers. The world is full of so many little things that color my life with simple joy!

So many times we easily forget those little things...thanks for the reminders.
Ah, I agree with Changes. Coming to your blog gives my tired eyes a vast vision of colors and wonderful photos to gaze upon and your words sooth my tired soul with happiness. Someday maybe you will put them all in a book for us to pick up and caress away our cares. Thanks and Peace
I think it's the little things that bring the biggest joys.
There is such indescribable peace in this photo, I can't say exactly why. It's one of those intangible things.
