Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.
~Ruth Ann Schabacker
Today's gift came in bright yellow. My favorite color. Tiny golden blooms smiling at me as I stepped out the back door. Sturdy little blooms that fought hard to climb their way through layers of dirt and old mulch and mostly melted snow. Skinny green leaves announcing hope grows here. Ribbons of simple joy soon untied in the warmth of the March sunshine. Messengers of hope and trust and forgiveness. Truth in tiny blossoms and slender little leaves. Oh...what a gift of a day this was.

There is something so special about the first bloom of spring..it does indeed inspire hope.
Beautiful prose and it makes me feel the uplifting thoughts you give to us. Peace
