Pink

Pink is the color of happiness. Pink encourages action and inspires confidence. Pink is the color of universal love. Lovers of beauty choose pink. Pink is shyness and a desire to make those around them happy. A pink rose says "I will never forget you". Pink is hope...and has long symbolized joy in many religions. Pink is peaceful. Pink is calm. Pink comes in many shades. Pink is artisitc and unique. Pink discourages aggression...and has been used by sports teams to paint the opposing teams locker room! Sweets taste better when they come out of pink boxes or are eaten from pink plates. Pink makes us crave sugar. We can be tickled pink, in the pink, float on a pink cloud, wiggle a pink-y finger, talk about pink elephants or find a pink slip waiting for us someday! Today, I feasted on pink grapefruit, dreamed of pink cotton candy, listened to "Pink Houses" by John Cougar Mellencamp....and found the most beautiful vase of pink roses on my kitchen table, from my favorite valentine. Simple joy, in the color pink. Today, pink is my favorite color!
