"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow." ...Mary Anne Radmacher
On a journey up a mountain road on a blustery spring day, we found simple joy in the frightened eyes of this tiny inquisitive observer. He stood trembling and camouflaged in the shelter of thick brown trees, with huge dark eyes open wide...his desire to see and explore and investigate powered from within by courage. We sat in the quiet of that Saturday morning, windows down, heater blowing, snow flakes flurrying around us, as he stood with head held high, staring...studying....choosing....then turning and leaping in fluid motion, disappeared from our sight. More lessons in life from this unexpected joy.....lessons of the value in tiny steps in life...in being unafraid to speak your peace, stand up for what you want....and knowing when the time is right to look once more, then turn and run for the safety of home, with the knowledge that you can...and will try again tomorrow!
