sunflower wisdom

I shall take the time each day to sit among the sunflowers, listening to their gentle wisdom, creating a life of love, happiness, and play.
Laura Stamp

I found simple joy today in the sight of our black eyed susan's, waving in the hot July wind. Bursting with lessons in life..they seemed to shout....hold your head high....keep your face to the sun....spread happiness....feed the birds....and blooming where you are planted isn't always enough.... you need to spread your seeds of happiness, even if you're occasionally forgotten! Simple lessons from these sassy little sun flowers with sound advice....stop taking life so seriously .... dance in the wind.....spread your petals and see where life takes you.... and don't forget to play! What started as a single flower, planted in honor of our own "brown eyed Susan" now spreads wildly across our yard....singing it's own kind of song....reminding me to spend a few moments each day...even in the 100 degree heat...to sit amongst the sunflowers and listen to their gentle wisdom!

Thanks for sharing and now I will never look at a sun flower again without hearing your words whisper in my mind. Peace
