Old things...

I love everything that is old: old friends, old times, old manners,
 old books, old wines.
Oliver Goldsmith

Outside our backdoor sits an old red wagon filled with memories.    Our own little welcome wagon, once filled with giggles and chubby bottoms...now filled with feathered ferns and soft pink blossoms.  A gentle reminder of old times....old days....old ways....of where we've been...and how we got there.  Simple joy in rusty red and faded white, a treasured old friend indeed.

If only the wagon could talk and tell all the tales of yesterday. Like the use of it with the flowers. Puppy has one of those in the basement, maybe I should put it out with some cute pots. Peace

Ohhh this is beautiful. Not only the picture but the thought of displaying it.

I turned my wagon into a planter too. Mine was already rusty to it was easy to poke holes in it and plant directly into it. I love vintage planters like this.
